Leeds Promoter Mark Bateson has informed us of the details of his latest show, a black-tie affair, at Elland Road on November 7th. Come-backing Mark Franks of Wakefield and debuting Tommy Broadbent of Leeds will join southpaw prospect Danny Reynolds, also of Leeds, in separate six-round bouts against opponents to be confirmed.
Wakefield's Franks will be looking to bounce back from a retirement stoppage defeat to Omar Gummatti back in March, while Reynolds will be looking to continue his unbeaten run, which currently stands at 4-0-1, with all the of the wins coming by way of stoppage.
In addition, Danny will be looking to overcome the frustration of a mooted SKY date going up in smoke due to the cancellation of October's Kevin Anderson Vs Steve Conway British Title bout in Scotland. Danny was to have made his television debut on the undercard. Both Reynolds and Franks are to fight at Light-Middleweight.
Finally, taking his professional bow in a Light-Welterweight bout over 6 x 2, will be Tommy Broadbent, reportedly a useful amateur, who learned his trade at Bateson's Burley Hill ABC under the tutelage of the promoters brother, Martin Bateson.
Lloyd Honeyghan, the former undisputed Welterweight champion, will be in attendance as guest of honour.
