The North Belfast puncher has an ominous task, as Petrucci starched Commonwealth holder Craig Watson in three rounds in March, while “Sinky” has never been noted for his resilience.

David Haye is the world cruiserweight champion.  He's stated many times before he aims to step up to heavyweight and be the world heavyweight champion.  Not just a titlist but THE champion. To do this, the man he's going to have to go through is Wladimir Klitschko 50-3, a two time champion and current IBF/WBO titlist, a tall order and certainly ambitious for Haye as he's only dipped his toe into the heavyweight waters once before, in April 2007 (Tomasz Bonin - TKO 1).

30 years ago - the debut of Dennis Andries

Back in May, 1978, on the 16th to be exact, one of Britain's toughest and, to a degree at least, most under appreciated boxers made his professional debut in Newport, Wales. Dennis "The Hackney Rock" Andries was the fighter, and, after dealing with one Ray Pearce in just two rounds, he would go on to become a three-time world champion at light-heavyweight. It was far from an easy path to the top for Dennis, however.
