Amir Khan set for WBO title eliminator by Kevin Taylor Feb 18th 2008

Amir Khan will face Martin Kristjansen in a WBO lightweight title eliminator at the Bolton Arena on April 5th. The 30-year-old from Stagelse in Denmark is ranked at number two by the WBO, Khan is ranked at number four by the same organisation The pair were due to meet on Feburary the 2nd, but the Dane pulled out due to illness.

Another Frank WBO Warren farce. Feb 19th 2008, 05:25:05 by sugarrayginge This is just another way for Frank Warren to say he has another World champion in his stable. Khan is a good fighter but Diaz would destroy him and surely Warren would not take the chance of Khan losing at this stage of his career. Does Warren knows that Diaz will give up the WBO belt to move up weight? Thus leaving the WBO belt vacant for Warren. He might stay WBO champion for a few years knocking out half hearted oponents and then when he fights somebody with KO power he will be lying on his back.
