It looks like the search for an opponent for John Murray has finally come to fruition with Felix Lora now set to face the unbeaten Manchester based English champion tomorrow night in Nottingham.
Lora originally from the Dominican Republic but now based in Spain has a record of 8-3-2, but comes into the ring with a couple of first round wins in his last two fights albeit against fighters with losing records.
One of Lora's losses was to the unbeaten Devon Alexander, who recently beat former Junior Witter foe Demarcus Corley in 2005, in Alexander's fourth fight as a pro after a good amateur career.
Earlier in the day it looked like it may have been Nadeem Siddique as the opponent for Murray's English title but in the end it fell through.
At today's weigh-in WBC light-welterweight champion Junior Witter was nine ounces under the championship limit of 140lbs while challenger Timothy Bradley was eleven ounces under the weight limit.
Super-middleweight Carl Froch and opponent Albert Rybacki both weighed a few ounces over 12st.
