Commonwealth super-featherweight king Craig Docherty looks well set to go on his European title conquest against Boris Sinitsin tomorrow night.
'Hot Property', weighing in four ounces under the 130lb limit, gave off the distinct air of a businessman going back to the office at today's weigh-in, with a steely expression to boot. Docherty also commented to reporters that he had made weight comfortably, and never even felt the urge to indulge himself last night.
His opponent Sinitsin looked confident and relaxed as he too weighed in without a hitch, scaling 9st 2lb 10oz, a pound less than his opponent.
The 25-year-old Glaswegian smiled to reporters amidst the backdrop of the Russian and Scotland flags, as he is given a chance to hold the European title which, if all goes well, will be his tomorrow night.
It is worth noting that Docherty appears bigger than the Russian, who looks like he should perhaps be campaigning at the featherweight limit of 126lbs.
Up-and-coming prospects Kevin Anderson and Barry Morrison also weighed-in comfortably ahead of their bouts.
The weights:
Boris Sinitsin (9st 2lb 10oz) v Craig Docherty (9st 3lb 10oz)
