Sheffield's British welterweight champion Kell Brook has left trainer Dave Coldwell to return to his former trainers, Brendan and Dominic Ingle.
This has been on the cards since Coldwell severed ties with Frank Warren's Sports Network and joined Hayemaker Boxing. Brook is managed by Warren.
Coldwell told the Sheffield Star: "Kell was genuinely upset, and after all the hard work and difficult times we have been through together over the last three and a half years I don't mind admitting I am gutted too.
"We had a long chat and he was close to tears. But he has been advised to move on. I am glad he has gone back to the Ingles rather than starting anywhere fresh.
"And who knows, his contract with Frank Warren is only a couple of years and he is only 22? Maybe we will work together in the future.
"Whether that is the case or not, I wish him all the best for the future, I really do."
Welterweight prospect Curtis Woodhouse, managed by Sports Network's Dean Powell but currently trained by Coldwell, is also thought to be on his way to the Ingles legendary Wincobank set up.
