Calzaghe super-fight called off by British Boxing Jul 22nd 2008

Joe Calzaghe's planned September super-fight with Roy Jones Jr in New York has been called off. Calzaghe's lawyer Gareth Williams confirmed to BBC Sport that the unbeaten Welshman has injured his right hand in training and will not be ready to face Roy Jones Jr in New York on September 20th at the Madison Square Gardens. A new date for the light-heavyweight clash has yet to be decided.
