David Haye backs anti-bullying campaign

by Ian McNeilly
Sep 11th 2008

Charismatic heavyweight prospect David Haye has thrown his considerable weight behind an anti-bullying campaign - and revealed that even he wasn't immune from bullying as a youngster.

In a video interview with the Sheffield Star newspaper, Haye goes on to reveal why he is backing the campaign (organised by Sheffield Boxing Centre, in conjunction with their local newspaper) and also reveals that many of his childhood friends have been either imprisoned or killed.
