The vacant British cruiserweight belt is on the line on Friday when Stourbridge's Rob Norton faces Londoner Mickey Steeds in the main event of Matchroom Sport's show at the Meadowside Leisure Centre in Burton on Friday, October 3.
Norton, 36, won the English title in March 2007 and has fought for the British Championship before but suffered a points loss against Mark Hobson in 2003.
This could be Norton's last big opportunity and the heavy puncher, who has secured 19 of his 29 wins via knockout, will hoping to be too strong for Steeds. However, he faces a tough task as 25-year-old Steeds is hungry for glory at this weight after moving down from the heavyweight division in 2006.
Commonwealth featherweight champion Paul Truscott will be in eight-round action and looking to extend his unbeaten run to 12 fights, although his belt will not be on the line.
David Dolan is another boxer who has dropped down from heavyweight to crusierweight and Dolan, who reached the final of the first Prizefighter tournament in April, will be involved in a six-round contest.
The rest of the undercard includes light-middleweights Prince Arron and Duane Parker, light-welterweight Tristan Davies and super-middleweight Jon Jo Finnegan.
Tickets cost £30 (unreserved) and £50 (ringside) and are available by calling Matchroom Sport on 01277 359900.
