Both Ricky Hatton and Jose Luis Castillo were spot on the 140-pound limit for their showdown tonight at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. As many as 4,000 fans, mostly from Britain showed up at the weigh-in yesterday at Caesar's Palace. IBF International welterweight champion Matthew Hatton (30-3-1, 12 KOs), will defend his belt against late sub Edwin Vazquez (22-9-2, 8 KOs), of Puerto Rico. Hatton made the 147-pound limit, but Vazquez was two pounds over, at 149--he was given two hours to lose the excess weight. The other Brits on the bill weighed in as follows:- Femi Fehintola 133.5lbs Stuart Brookes 156lbs David Barnes 145lbs
