BBN Exclusive - Haye v Mormeck WILL be televised!

by Ian McNeilly
Nov 8th 2007

Just as British fight fans had resigned themselves to a TV blackout of David Haye's world title challenge, Setanta Sports has come to the rescue.

A source at Setanta confirmed exclusively to BBN that the WBA/WBC cruiserweight clash between Haye and champion Jean Marc Mormeck in Paris will be shown live on Saturday evening, with the fight due to start at 8.50pm GMT.

It is a brilliant coup by Setanta which has shown great support to our sport by showcasing both domestic action and top line international fights.

The channel was already screening the huge Cotto-Mosley fight live in the early hours of Sunday morning and Haye's challenge for world honours will certainly be more than an appetizer for British boxing fans.
