Thaxton disappointed that Khan set to fight Dane by Kevin Taylor Dec 21st 2007

Jon Thaxton today expressed his disappointment that Amir Khan will now fight Dane Martin Kristjansen on the 2nd February rather than take him on for his British title. "I'm very disappointed, obviously Mr Warren still isn't confident about Amir's chin. "Khan called me out and abused me saying I couldn't crack an egg, well one look at Kristensen's record and you can see that he definitely can't crack an egg! "I'm really surprised he made all the noise about me going missing, and when he found out I am still around he shut up again. "Hopefully early in the New Year the fight the public want to see will be made and the best will fight the best. "Khan said he will fight me when the time is right, I wonder when the time will be right. How old does he want me to be? I'm already losing my hair! "He's done all that calling out and now he's gone for a soft touch, at least I can enjoy Christmas now". Khan will met Kristensen at the Excel Arena on February the 2nd. The Dane has a record of 19-1-3, with only five wins coming inside the distance.
