Stood amongst some of the finest reality TV personalities on last night's BBC show 'The Weakest Link' was 6' 4” Welshman Enzo Maccarinellli.
He took his pedestal next to eight ‘celebrities' such as, Brian Bello (Big Brother 8 winner), Pete Burns (former BB contestant), Bianca Gascoigne (Love Island) and 17-year-old rocker Lil‘ Chris (some other Reality TV show winner).
Anne Robinson, the straight-talking, red-headed Welsh-hater gave Enzo one of the toughest night's of his career, giving him questions that he simply couldn't answer.
He did in fact come in third place behind Dr Jan and Danny & Susan, winners of Grease is the Word and winners of the night's show. It was of course a charity event and the thousands of pounds the pair won, will go to the Macmillan Cancer Appeal.
It's yet to be seen whether the Maccarinelli camp will be contesting the decision. I've heard that they could be appealing an unfair advantage - Danny & Susan were both working together while everybody else was on their own.
After receiving the now infamous words, ‘You are the Weakest Link, goodbye!' Enzo said he was sure the lads at the gym would be proud of him for getting past the first few rounds.
I'm sure his stablemates will be proud if the cruiserweight can do the same, or better, against world champion David Haye on 8th March at the O2 Arena in London.
