Former WBO featherweight champion Scott Harrison has failed in his bid to get his licence back.
The Scot, who has been involved in a string of incidents involving the police over the last couple of years exacerbated by a problem with alcohol, attended a hearing yesterday at the British Boxing Board of Control's offices in Cardiff.
Harrison, remarkably still only 30 years of age, was represented at the hearing by former BBN correspondent, Grant Jeans. Despite this, he was found guilty of allegations of misconduct and told that the suspension, originally imposed in December 2006, will remain in force until the end of January 2009.
