Prizefighter winner and heavyweight boxer Martin Rogan has warned Audley Harrison not to underestimate him ahead of their clash at the Aston Villa Leisure Centre in Birmingham on Saturday 19 July.
Speaking to Setanta Sports News during Steve Bunce's Boxing Hour Rogan said: “Audley Harrison has a lot more on his plate than he thinks. He thinks he's going to walk all over me, that he's going to bully me? He's not going to bully me.
“Audley's been saying every year that he's going to be world champion. Every year has passed and he hasn't won it.”
Rogan has had leave his part-time job as a cabbie to be able to box on a full time basis. Belfast born Rogan went on to dismiss any claims that Harrison has a height advantage.
“His height goes up every other week. Some people are saying he's 6”5; some are saying 6”6. I don't really care because he'll just make a louder bang when he hits the canvas.
“He probably thinks that 10 rounds is out of my depth but we'll see what happens.”
