Peter Buckley will make a return to the ring this weekend in Wigan against Ali Shah after much speculation that the Brummie had hung up the gloves after a career that has spanned 19 years and 291 fights. Former Midlands Area champion Buckley has yet to step through the ropes in 2008 and many had already written the boxing obituaries of the pugilistic professor, but it seems he can't stay away as he inches another step closer to the 300 mark with a four rounder at welterweight against Ingle trained Shah of Blackburn, who will be competiting in his second fight and was born less than three years before Buckley made his debut.
