'Deal or no deal?' is a question some boxing men have to 'deal' with every week.  Those paragons of pugilistic virtue the promoters are the most likely to pose the question - to their peers as well as managers, boxers, trainers, TV companies...you name it. But those genuine bastions of justice - the humble referees - are normally above and beyond such matters. Later this week, all this will change on national TV. I have it on good authority that Dudley referee Shaun Messer will be posed the question on more than one occasion by the host of Channel 4's 'Deal or No Deal', Noel Edmonds. For those who have seen the hirsute Edmonds' latest TV creation, Shaun has been on the panel for about a week and I'm reliably informed that his turn will be shown on Thursday afternoon. The show is aired at 4.15pm. Let's hope the fella makes a few quid.  Count the Banker out, Shaun!
