BBN photographer showcased in exhibition by Ian McNeilly Apr 9th 2008

Multi-award nominated and erstwhile BBN snapper Paul Knox sees his work showcased in an exhibition starting this month.   'Making the Weight' runs at Darlington's Arts Centre until 24th May.    It centres around the gruelling punishment a fighter has to go through to make the weight for a professional contest.  In this case, Knox's subject is Darlington tough man and former British welterweight title challenger, Francis Jones.   The gallery is open: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays - 12.00pm to 7.00pm Saturdays - 10.00am to 4.00pm.   Admission is free.   The address is DMG, Blanche Pease Annexe, The Arts Centre, Vane Terrace, Darlington, DL3 7AX, Tel: 01325 488139; Email: dmg@mediaworkshop.org.uk   A link to the Gallery - http://www.mediaworkshop.org.uk/index.html
