Almost three years after losing to Oscar Larios for the WBC super-bantamweight title, Wayne 'The Pocket Rocket' McCullough makes a belated return to the ring this Friday night, 20th June. Unfortunately, unless I win the midweek lottery or a millionaire comes along and buys a stake in BBN, I won't be ringside for the fight that takes place at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex, although some other sources say the Royal Watler Cruise Terminal, in George Town capital city of the Grand Caymans in the Cayman Islands. McCullough faces Juan Ruiz over ten rounds. Instead I've had a chat with Wayne and here are some firsts and lasts of an incredible career in boxing which has spanned over 30 years. I won by TKO in round 4. First Purse $6,000 First title won North American Boxing Federation (NABF) belt in January 1994 against Javier Medina in Omaha, Nebraska. First thing you do when you get to the Arena Sit down and relax. Last thing you do before entering the ring Pray to God for safety for both of us.
