Bernard Dunne has been offered a shot at the European super-bantamweight title that he used to own, but he must come to England to challenge for it.
Frank Maloney who promotes champion Rendall Munroe said he's happy for Dunne to come to England and fight his man in front of Sky TV camera's.
"At no time has the European champion, Munroe, declined to fight Bernard Dunne, the former European champ.
"Yes I did decline to go to Dublin as Munroe is the champion.
"Peters (Dunne's Promoter) seems to have a short memory, when Dunne was champion he declined to take Munroe as a voluntary. He said that Munroe was the wrong sort of opponent.
"So who is running and who needs who? Ask yourself.
"The offer is still open for Dunne to come to England and fight the champion in front of the Sky TV cameras before Munroe's up and coming voluntary defence is finalised this weekend.
"Rendall Munroe is the champion and Dunne is not the mandatory challenger so if Dunne doesn't want to take this offer up he will have to get in line and wait until he is the mandatory and that could be at least a year from now.
"Team Dunne, if you want the fight, you know my number."
