“Statto” to his friends, Kevin is a keen boxing fan who has been collecting records and boxing magazines
for the past twenty-five years. His interest in boxing came via his father who was a big fight fan and would often tell Kevin
about the heroes of yesteryear like Randy Turpin, Sugar Ray Robinson and Freddie Mills. The first fights he can really
remember were twenty five years ago when Alan Minter and Dave ‘Boy’ Green challenged for World titles in
1980.
His interest waned for a few years until the arrival on the scene of the destructive Mike
Tyson.
Kevin’s passion is record-keeping and he is determined that BBN will one day have details of more
British fights than any other site in the World and will become the number one source for British boxing for the World
over.
